In Hippocrates, you travel back to Greece in 371 BCE on the island of Kos. Hippocrates is aging and cannot continue his medical practice forever. As a hopeful successor, you lead a team of doctors to perpetuate the treatment of patients in the temple of Asclepios, later known as the first hospital in history. To prove your worth as Hippocrates' successor, you’ll need to manage resources efficiently, build your reputation, and treat patients from across the Mediterranean. The game combines tactical positioning, tile placement, and resource management, creating an exciting challenge for every player.

The game is divided into four rounds, each consisting of five distinct phases: Erosthe (Welcome), Misthodosia (Payment), Stelehosis (Recruitment), Therapeia (Treatment), and Vathmologesis (Score). Each phase brings its own set of challenges and decisions that affect your ability to treat patients, hire doctors, and expand your hospital's influence.
